Will this fit my car?

520 x 111mm is the standard UK car and van size and fits the overwhelming majority of vehicles. Measure your existing plate before ordering. If it is short and tall rather than long and thin, you need the square size instead.

Do I get one plate or two?

That depends on which option you select. Front Only and Rear Only are a single plate. Front and Rear Pair is two plates, a white front and a yellow rear, printed together so they match.

Are screws or fixings included?

No, plates are supplied on their own. Most cars can reuse the existing screws or sticky pads. If yours are rusted or damaged, number plate fixing kits are inexpensive and available from any motor factor.

How soon will it arrive?

Plates are made to order once we have verified your documents. We dispatch quickly and standard UK delivery typically arrives within 2 to 4 working days from that point.

What should I put on it?

Names and nicknames are the most popular, followed by dates, club names, build names and social handles. Shorter works better — four to seven characters sits large and reads from across a room, where ten characters gets cramped.

Can I use symbols or punctuation?

Letters, numbers, spaces, full stops and hyphens. Anything else won't print cleanly at plate size, so we keep it to what actually looks right.

Is it a good gift if I don't know their car?

That's exactly why it works. A road-legal plate needs their logbook, which means asking for it and ruining the surprise. A show plate needs nothing from them at all — most end up on a wall anyway.

Will it look like a real plate?

It is a real plate. Same acrylic, same printing, same finish as the ones we make for the road. The only difference is what's printed on it and where it's allowed to go.
