WHAT WE COLLECT
When you place an order
- Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address
- The vehicle registration you've asked us to manufacture
- Proof of entitlement documents — your V5C, new keeper supplement, certificate of entitlement or retention document
- Proof of identity — typically a driving licence or recent utility bill
- Order history and correspondence with us
We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled by Stripe, and your card information goes directly to them.
When you contact us or sign up
- Your name, email address and the content of your message
- Your email address if you ask to be told when new finishes launch
When you browse the site
- Pages visited, how you arrived, approximate location, device and browser
- Cookies and similar technologies, described below
WHY WE COLLECT IT
Under UK GDPR we have to tell you our lawful basis for each use.
- To fulfil your order — performance of a contract
- To verify your entitlement to a registration — legal obligation. UK law requires number plate suppliers to check this before manufacturing, and we cannot make a road-legal plate without it
- To answer your enquiries — legitimate interests in running the business
- To send you launch updates — consent, which you can withdraw at any time
- To measure and improve our advertising — consent, through cookies
- To keep accounting records — legal obligation
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the services needed to run the business:
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and delivers it to your browser
- Supabase — stores your order, your documents and any details you send us through a form
- Stripe — takes payment. Your card details go straight to them and never reach us
- Resend — sends your order confirmation and any emails you've asked for
- Google — analytics and advertising measurement
- Meta — advertising measurement
- Delivery carriers — your name and address, to deliver your order
Some of these process data outside the UK. Where that happens, they're required to protect it to a standard equivalent to UK law.
We may also disclose information where we're legally required to — for example to the police or DVLA in connection with a criminal investigation.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
- Order records and entitlement documents — three years. As a DVLA registered number plate supplier we are required to keep records of number plate sales for this period and produce them on request to DVLA, the police, DVSA or Trading Standards
- Accounting records — six years, as required by HMRC
- Enquiries — up to two years after your last contact with us
- Marketing sign-ups — until you unsubscribe
COOKIES
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies — remember what's in your basket. The site can't work without these
- Analytics cookies — tell us which pages people use, through Google Analytics
- Advertising cookies — let us measure whether our ads work, through Google and Meta
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking essential ones will stop the basket working.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data, where we're not legally required to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Transfer it to another provider
- Stop sending you marketing, at any time

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
SECURITY
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe's secure checkout, and card details never reach our servers. No system is completely secure, but we'll tell you and the ICO if a breach puts your rights at risk.
CHILDREN
This site isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. You need to be entitled to a vehicle registration to order a road-legal plate.
CHANGES
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
